Liver also needs Chromium

Chromium, GTF (Glandular) is a trace mineral that plays a role in regulating blood sugar levels. Each "glucose tolerance factor" (GTF) molecule, a hormonelike compound, requires chromium as its central atom. GTF works with insulin to transport glucose from the blood into the cells. When this function is not working properly, the cells resist insulin and do not properly absorb the glucose needed for energy.

The liver also needs chromium to manufacture fatty acids, lecithin, cholesterol and lipoproteins. Without chromium, blood fats tend to rise because the liver cannot filter them out. Processing destroys much of the chromium content in foods.

Chromium is a mineral that becomes a part of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF). Chromium aids in insulin utilization and blood sugar control. By controlling blood sugar, chromium helps prevent the damage caused by glucose, which is called glycation. Chromium helps maintain normal cholesterol levels and improves high-density lipoprotein levels. Chromium is also important in building muscle and reducing obesity.

Metabolic Syndrome happen cause of:
• Not enough foods containing chromium are consumed
• Chromium is lost during food processing
• People don’t like foods containing chromium
• High quantities of sugar in the diet cause chromium loss
• Chromium in many foods is not easily absorbed
• Chromium levels start to decrease in the early 40’s

Source of Chromium:
Brewer’s yeast, brown rice, cheese, meat, whole grains, dried beans, calf liver, chicken, corn, dairy products, dried liver, eggs, mushrooms and potatoes

GTF (Glucose tolerance factor) is known as a hormone-like compound that works with insulin to transfer glucose from blood into cells. It is composed of certain trivalent chromium, some minerals, amino acids and vitamin. When GTF function is not working properly, the cells resist insulin and do not properly absorb the glucose needed for generation of energy.

GT&F® is non-toxic, does not produce side effects, contains no drugs, hormones, or toxins, it is safe to take. GT&F® is able to effectively promote functioning of insulin, and long-term use provides body with sufficient GTF to maintain homeostasis of blood sugar and also will prevent the occurrence of type 2 diabetes and its complications.
